**BOARD MEETING SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 4, 2013**

The 2012 edition of Mandatory/Nonmandatory Subjects of Negotiation is now available in a soft-cover 8 1/2 x 5 1/4” printed format, at a cost of $32.00 (go to the Publications Order Form). This publication identifies matters found by PERB, the Director of Employment Practices and Representation, its Administrative Law Judges and the courts to be mandatory, nonmandatory, or prohibited subjects of negotiations. The 2012 edition is current through December 31, 2011. For this edition, an index alphabetized by subject matter has been added.

On July 22, 2010, the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) assumed the responsibility of administering the New York State Employment Relations Act (SERA) , previously performed by the State Employment Relations Board (SERB). Consistent with the legislation granting PERB these responsibilities, we are in the process of reviewing the SERB precedent and procedures.       More details are available through this link.
